On 26 July, a workshop held in Bangkok, Thailand, brought together researchers to discuss the implications of climate change on debt sustainability, debt management, and the formulation of monetary and fiscal policies, with a particular focus on economies in Asia and the Pacific. The event was co-hosted by the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Asia-Pacific Applied Economics Association (APAEA), and Guangdong University of Finance and Economics (GDUFE). As part of an ongoing workshop series co-organized with APAEA, this event also marked the beginning of ADBI’s collaboration with GDUFE.
