Securities that are eligible for Viet Nam Securities Depository (VSD) custody include securities of public companies that are unlisted and those listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HASTC).

As of May 2007, there were twenty-four depository participants comprising securities companies, domestic commercial banks, and branches of foreign commercial banks.
