Clearstream, Euroclear, and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) are post-trade financial service providers that offer clearing, settlement, and custody for a wide range of domestic and internationally-traded foreign bonds and equities. The 1999 merger of Cedel International and Germany's Deutsche Börse Clearing created Clearstream.
Settlement of transactions on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange can be conducted through any clearing system recognized by the exchange.
