Market Associations

The Korea Securities Dealers Association (KSDA) was established under the Securities and Exchange Act to promote self-regulation in the Republic of Korea's securities industry. The KSDA manages and discloses relevant information on over-the-counter (OTC) bond trading, including yields, trading volume, trading value, terms and conditions for issuance, and trading results.

The Korea Futures Association (KOFA) is a self-regulating association of futures brokerage firms. It was established under the Futures Trading Act to ensure effective industry-wide self-regulation and protect public investors.

As part of efforts to consolidate the financial and capital markets, the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) was formed through the merger of the Asset Management Association of Korea (AMAK), KSDA, and KOFA in 2008.
