Established in 1999, the Jakarta Futures Exchange is the first futures exchange in the country. Commodities included on the exchange include crude palm oil, robusta coffee, pepper, plywood, cocoa, and rubber. The exchange plans to add financial trading instruments such as foreign exchange, interest rates, and government bonds.
