The Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Board (BAPEPAM-LK) licenses local rating agencies specializing in Indonesian debt. The two local rating agencies in Indonesia are Credit Rating Indonesia (PT PEFINDO) and PT Kasnic Credit Rating Indonesia. In 2007, PT Kasnic Credit Rating Indonesia was acquired by Moody's Corporation and was renamed PT Moody's Indonesia.
