Investing in Bond Funds
Bond Funds or Income Funds are collective investment schemes that primarily invest in bonds or other types of debt securities. Professional fund managers adjust fund portfolios to a set of investment objectives. The fund may either be an open-ended mutual fund, a closed-end fund, or a unit investment trust. There are a variety of bond funds in Asia investing in sovereign, quasi-sovereign, and corporate bonds, denominated either in local and foreign currencies.
