The Central Money Markets Unit (CMU) of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is the central securities depository for all Exchange Fund Bills and Notes (EFBNs) and other over-the-counter (OTC) private debt securities. The CMU maintains an inventory arranged by issue number.

Issue numbers are 11 characters long and comprise four parts: (i) account code of the issuer or lodging number, (ii) type of instrument, (iii) year of issue, (iv) and serial number. For example, AAAACD93008 refers to the 8th issue of instrument type CD, arranged by issuer AAAA in 1993. A complete list of issues can be found by following the CMU link provided below.
