Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited introduced an Online Trading Service allowing investors to buy and sell Exchange Fund Notes and debt securities issued by quasi-government and private corporations via the Internet.

The Online Trading Service provides a secure, reliable, and direct online access by using digital certificates. This allows investors full control when placing orders to brokers over the Internet, offering real-time order placement, modification, cancellation, and inquiry. The service also provides an automatic email alert service updating investors on the status of their orders.

AsianBondsOnline is a one-stop clearing house of information on sovereign and corporate bonds, including bonds Hong Kong. It contains essential data on current market activities, the legal and regulatory framework, and government policies and initiatives affecting the market.
