Securities Exchange Law

A securities exchange law is currently being drafted by Myanmar's Ministry of Finance and Revenue and the Attorney General's Office. This is an important step toward providing the necessary rules and regulations for securities market activities, including the Myanmar Securities Exchange Centre, which opened in July 1996.
