Global rating agencies have assigned the above long-term foreign currency ratings for Malaysia. Home pages of these rating agencies are linked below.

Corporate bond ratings are mandatory. Government and government guaranteed debt are exempted. There are two private credit rating agencies: Rating Agency Malaysia Bhd and Malaysian Rating Corporation Bhd.
