The Japan Securities Dealers Association is a self-regulating organization that inspects securities companies and shares market information with the Securities Exchange Surveillance Commission.
The Financial Futures Association of Japan (FFAJ) was established in August 1989 by the Minister of Finance pursuant to the Financial Futures Laws. The FFAJ ensures protection of investors and promotes the growth of the financial futures industry through proper supervision of its members. A revision of the Financial Futures Laws in 1992 reinforced FFAJ as a self-regulatory body.
