Trading and Bond Exchanges

The operating procedures of the Surabaya Stock Exchange's (SSX) Over-the-Counter Fixed Income Service (OTC-FIS) and the Indonesian Government Securities Trading System (IGSTS) trading platforms are outlined at the web links below.

The OTC-FIS is an information and quotation system that allows both participants and non-participants to quote, negotiate and report all bond transactions executed through the SSX. IGSTS is a subsidiary trading platform specializing in government securities. Detailed information on OTC-FIS and IGSTS are included in the SSX Fact Book 2004.

Trading systems of the government and corporate bond markets are also described in the July 2002 issue of the Executives' Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central Banks and Monetary Authorities (EMEAP) Redbook.
