The Royal Government of Cambodia entered bilateral agreements for the promotion and protection of investments with several countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and the US, and is currently negotiating with many more countries.

The Financial Sector Blueprint for 2001-2010 also contains a number of sections covering the protection of investors.
